Cable entry for assembled wires
Cable entry systems, split cable glands or split housings receive a guarantee when assembled cables and wires are introduced into control cabinets, switch boxes and the like . Blanking plates and reducing adapters make it possible to prepare and cover pre-punched holes for later applications or to reduce them to the size that is currently required. EMC connection solutions are also available under “Accessories”.
The icotek cable entry system KEL
When the modular icotek cable entry system is used, the removal and re-assembly of connectors after the entry is dispensed with in the case of wires with connectors. The manufacturer’s warranty remains in effect. The protected captive split cable grommets can be used to pack various cable cross-sections into the same frame. Selecting the appropriate grommet for the cable diameter achieves a high protection class with simultaneous strain relief.
" Advantages of the icotek cable entries: "
- The cuboid, slit grommets of the consistently split system are positively guided, compressed and therefore tightly sealed when they are installed
- The captive grommets that are fixed in the cable entry frame can be installed without tools
- Secure hold: Strain relief in accordance with DIN EN 50262
- Vibration-resistant
- Upgrades and replacements are possible without any problems during servicing.
- With a seal and the selection of the correct cable grommet, the protection class IP54 is achieved.
- For cable outer diameters from 2.0 mm to 65.0 mm
- The flexible use of double or quadruple cable grommets can increase the packing density many times over.
