Data lines for secure and interference-free data transmission
Data lines are required wherever interference-free signal impulses must be ensured. Data streams can be protected by high-quality materials such as PETP films, copper shielding braid and/or copper wires, with a degree of coverage up to 100%. The twisted pairing of the cores also achieves signal decoupling. In switch cabinet manufacturing or in electronic control and regulation devices, for example, the flexible wires ensure a secure transmission of measurement, control and voice signals.
The cable strands are constructed of bare or tinned copper wires with a fine wire conductor construction. The shielding braid consists of tinned copper wires with approx. 85% coverage. The wires are protected by a non-woven wrapping and the outer jacket made of PUR or PVC.

The data lines are the ideal cable connections for electrical engineering as their small bending radius and cross-sections as well as ideal shielding technology and maximum flexibility make them perfect for use as data lines in moving applications. The high-temperature-resistant cables are also resistant to solvents and chemical substances. This ensures a low attenuation and distortion-free signal transmission. Due to their high mechanical strength, the data cables are suitable for use not only in power track chains but also in assembly sections that are subject to rapid lifting and bending stresses and, for example, in machine parts that are permanently in motion. The cables can also be used in newer technologies since they are repeatedly adapted to the latest technical developments.

The LiYY cable is primarily used in information and communication technology, in low voltage switchgear manufacturing or in balance, appliance and switch cabinet manufacturing. Here they ensure interference-free and secure data transmission.
The LiYCY are found in testing and control technology, in electrical installation appliance manufacturing, in process control systems and in balance, appliance and switch cabinet manufacturing. With finish and design functions specified for the individual applications, i.e. the appropriate properties, the cables serve a wide range of requirements. In addition to the electronics industry and in machine and tool manufacturing, the data cables also perform reliably in many other industries, such as in air conditioning and heating technology, on assembly lines, conveyor belts and material handling plants, in robotics technology and in installations in metallurgical, steel and rolling mills.

Data lines with impressive product properties
Whether shielded PVC cable, drag chain capable or twisted pairing, unitronic fd cy and unitronic fd cp installation cables feature outstanding properties. Different cable diameters allow for flexible installation with a minimum bending radius of 5 times the outer diameter in fixed installations or 10 times the outer diameter. They withstand temperatures from -5°C in moving installations, and from -30°C in fixed installations, up to 70°C. If required, the cables are self-extinguishing and flame-retardant. The cut, tear and abrasion resistance provides mechanical durability. The comprehensive weather resistance also allows for use outdoors at maximum cable functionality. Chemical-resistant and largely acid-resistant properties protect the cable in harsh environments. The cables are largely oil resistant and protected against hydraulic fluids for trouble-free use in machines.
