Wickerwork
Arrangement of intersecting wires or yarns as part of a cable structure. The braid made of copper wires is used as a shield, while braids made of textile or plastic yarns or steel wires fulfil protective or load-bearing, i.e. mechanical, functions. Braids can be close-meshed or wide-meshed (coverage density in per cent), with different braiding angles. (All data without guarantee)
