Nominal voltage
Nominal voltage is the voltage to which the structure and the tests of the wires with regard to the electrical properties are related. The rated voltage is expressed in V by specifying two alternating voltages Uo/0: Uo = effective value between an outer conductor and "earth" (non-insulating environment). U = effective value between two outer conductors of a multi-core cable or a system of single-core wires. (All data without guarantee)
