Torsion

Twisting of the wires around the longitudinal axis. VDE0298, Part 300, Section 5.4.4: Flexible wires are generally not intended for torsional stresses. In cases where such torsional stresses cannot be avoided, the structure of the cable and the type of installation should be agreed between the user and the cable manufacturer.
