Use of these cables and wires for fixed wiring in buildings for residential, commercial and industrial use. Listed cables and wires must not only meet UL product standards, but must also be used in accordance with the appropriate articles of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Listed cables and wires can be used for factory wiring of electrical equipment, appliances, apparatus and machinery as well as for field wiring of industrial machinery and equipment in accordance with NFPA 79.
