Multi Standard SC 2.1 – The single core cable with UL/CSA approval
A single core cable is used as a connection and control cable in assembly sections where perfect wiring and cabling of electrical installations are required. There are many different cores that differ in their quality and construction to meet the various requirements in installations. There are some significant deviations in the European regulations regarding the installation and commissioning of electrical systems. Due to UL/CSA approval, the Multi Standard SC 2.1 single core cable is subject to permanent control of the standards and is distinguished by its high quality. As a result, the core can be used in electrical installations in major global markets.

Multi Standard SC 2.1 single core cable – Reliable connection due to its optimal construction "
The stranded wire consists of tinned copper wires. The fine wire conductor construction complies with Class 5 stranded conductor according to VDE 0295. The core insulation consists of solid polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The outstanding product properties ensure the safe wiring of various end devices. The total length of 100 m as a packaging unit is supplied in a practical cardboard box and can be removed as needed to ensure quick and safe installation. The Multi Standard SC 2.1 single core cable is available in the colours black, blue, green/yellow, brown, grey, dark blue, yellow, green, orange, pink, red, purple, white and white/blue. Due to the different wire colours, various functions can be defined to ensure an uncomplicated connection.
The product properties speak for the quality of the Multi Standard SC 2.1 cable from Lapp. With a core diameter of 2.7 mm and a minimum bending radius of 4.0 times the outer diameter in a fixed installation, the single core cables can be used in a variety of ways to connect electrical installations. In terms of fire behaviour, the largely oil-resistant single core cables have self-extinguishing properties and are flame retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2. They withstand a temperature range from -40°C to 105°C. The rated voltage is 450V/750V, while the test voltage reaches up to 2500V.
Specially designed for export – Reliable connection with the Lapp Kabel Multi Standard SC 2.1
The 5-fold standardised Multi Standard SC 2.1 single core cable is specially designed for export-oriented machine and plant manufacturing. The cable can be used for installations on and under plaster, in conduits and in closed installation ducts, for both field wiring and factory wiring applications. The universal application of connectors and terminals as external connection terminals is permitted in nearly all areas due to this component approval.
One cable for many applications – The versatile Multi Standard SC 2.1 cable
The cables are available in nominal cross-sections 0.5 mm2, 0.75 mm and 1.0 mm2. The Multi Standard SC 2.1 ensures secure cabling in various industries such as plant manufacturing, appliance manufacturing, machine manufacturing, in switchgear and in switch cabinet manufacturing, in terminal boxes and in internal appliance wiring.
