What is a mushroom button?

How does a mushroom button work?

- Mushroom button latching: for applications where a palm switch with latching function is need, round and square Schlegel mushroom buttons are ideal. The Quartex-R model with 6 mm stroke fits installation openings with a diameter or 22.3mm and is certified in accordance with protection class IP65. We have circular latching mushroom buttons in stock in two sizes: 22.3mm and 30.5mm.
- Mushroom button with 3mm and 6mm stroke: We have square and clockwise-turning lever buttons from the Schlegel Oktron series, as well as robust square and circular emergency buttons with a button drop of 3 mm. All three models are illuminated and certified in accordance with protection class IP65. Our assortment also includes unilluminated emergency buttons with a button drop of 6mm, either round or square.
