The range includes both spiral cable protection and all-plastic conduits. Depending on the requirements and application, the spiral cable protection is covered with PUR sheathing made of polyurethane or PVC sheathing made of polyvinyl chloride. Both variants are available in different nominal sizes, so that the inner and outer diameters of the corrugated tubing can be precisely adapted to the respective installation application.
The all-plastic conduits and spiral cable protection with smooth outer sheathing are specially designed for critical hygiene areas such as in the food sector or in laboratory environments. The smooth sheathing makes them quick and easy to clean and to disinfect.
Easy-to-configure plastic corrugated tubing
The robust plastic corrugated tubing is equipped with the necessary product characteristics to generate the perfect protection for specific applications. The specification of the minimum bending radius and the temperature range help with selection, for example, as do the various nominal sizes and special features of the individual tubing types. The protection class, the approvals regarding fire behaviour as well as the hose construction are also indicated for support.
The inner spiral of the plastic corrugated tubing of the AIRflex-KUW-PVC and AIRflex-KUW-PU types are made of a flexible plastic-sheathed spring steel wire. This flexibility enables a broad and uncomplicated use of plastic conduits in a wide range of applications and trades.
