With the unique terminal block system from Phoenix Contact, you can choose between connection terminals: screw terminals UT and Push-In® terminals PT. Both connection technologies can be freely combined with each other using the same accessories as a result of the double function shaft. Thanks to the standardised bridge accessories, testing accessories and labelling accessories, the logistics and storage costs for terminal blocks are reduced.
The terminals are fitted next to each other on top-hat rails in the switch cabinet in a space-saving and clear manner. This advantage of this arrangement is that individual terminal blocks can be easily removed and replaced. Individual terminal blocks can be easily connected together using jumpers .
Phoenix Contact terminal blocks are tested and approved for a range of national and international approbations.

The unique terminal block system CLIPLINE complete from Phoenix Contact offers the free selection of connection technology. All connection technologies are stackable in the same system. The respective terminals are simply clicked onto the top-hat rail next to each other. As a result, 2 continuous function shafts are automatically created. All the tasks of potential distribution can be solved with the basic equipment.

The added value from the CLIPLINE complete systems from Phoenix Contact lies in the universality across all connection technologies. This saves time in projecting and logistics costs. The 3.5mm narrow terminals are ideal for space-saving conductor connection, e.g. on the top-hat rail. Bridges and test connectors can be individually configured. All terminal blocks have excellent material properties and have a range of approvals. Multi-tier terminals for potential distribution are also available.

1. For quick and individual potential distribution
The two function shafts are arranged in a line across all terminals so that a combination of all connection technologies together is possible. Consequently, all the tasks of the potential bridging can be realised in a time-saving manner.
2. A consistent labelling system
All terminal blocks have a high label groove for terminal labelling. They hold larger, high terminal labels. Flat label grooves, often used for labelling individual terminals, serve to hold smaller, flat labels. All materials are available unprinted or labelled.
3. The customisable testing system
All test connectors of the system contact in the freely accessible function shaft. For individual measurement wires, a test connector with a diameter of 2.3mm is available. More extensive testing jobs can be realised with stackable test connectors. The test adapters can be individually customised and thus are ideal for test fields.
4. For special tasks
All disconnect terminals of the CLIPLINE complete system have a standardised separation zone. The separation zone holds different connectors such as fuse connectors, component connectors and separation connectors.
5. Extremely robust – full approval
The push-in terminals have vibration resistance according to German railway standard DIN EN 50155, shock and corrosion resistance according to standard shipbuilding indexes, certification in process technology in the area of increased safety, EX e and the full range of approvals for all branches worldwide. They provide safety through a high flammability rating.

Easy contacts - high-performance connection
PT push-in terminals facilitate the direct conductor connection, without tools and without force. The contact springs open automatically when inserted. The safe, time-saving cabling has a high contact quality. The maintenance-free contact technology of the screw terminal UT with Reakdyn screw fastening has been in use for more than 80 years. The screw connection technology, also for large conductor cross-sections, is suitable for the multi-conductor connection and is universally usable.
The simple PT push-in terminal
Terminal blocks with simple PT push-in connection technology facilitate easy and direct insertion of the conductor thanks to the 50 per cent less force needed – without using tools. Conductor cross-sections above 0.14mm² can be ruled out. View all Push-in connection terminals .
