The Han 16A series is one of the most flexible of the modular connectors from Harting.
Whether Harting inserts Han 16A, Han 25D, Han Staf 20 with 16, 20 or 25 pins: our assortment has the right Han 16A housing for every connector with crimp, screw or solder terminal. We have shielded housings for EMC applications, robust standard housings made from die-cast aluminium and weather-resistant models made from high strength plastic. Depending on the model, the housings are designed for a temperature range of between -40 degrees and +125 degrees, and in locked state the connectors protect according to the requirements of protection class IP65.
Thanks to its narrow and space-saving design, the Harting Han 16A is one of the standard housing for industrial applications.

Our assortment includes cost-effective and especially weather-proof Han 16A ECO models, shielded Han 16A EMC housings and the proven standard housings made from die-case aluminium. Han 16A EMC
Completely shielded against electromagnetic interference the Han 16A housings are ideal for cabling in test laboratories and in the area of safety technology. The EMC housings are available in two models with different cable outlets:
- Han 16A EMC hood with high profile straight cable outlet and a lever closure on the lower section. With a thread in either M25, PG16 or PG21.
- Han 16A EMC hoods with high profile with lateral cable outlet for space-saving installation. Comes with a secure lever closure on the lower section and is available with threads of sizes M25, PG16 and PG21.
Han 16A standard housings made from die-cast aluminium
The proven and stable version in die-cast aluminium is suitable for all Harting connectors with inserts of the series: Han 10A, Han 15D, Han Staf 14. There is room for up to 15 usable pins with a maximum voltage of 250V and current strength of up to 16A in a Han 16A standard housing. Thanks to the broad selection of housing variants, the Han 16A standard series is flexibly usable. Han 16A ECO housing
Suitable for areas where connectors must be protected against corrosion. In addition, the Han 16A ECO housings are characterised by an excellent price-performance ratio. The ECO housings are also compatible metal hoods of size 16A and are available in almost every type. The Han16A Eco housings are available from us as bulkhead mounted housings, flush mounted housings, cable to cable housings, hoods or cup housings.
Depending on the type, they robust housings made from high-performance plastic are available with one or more threads up to a size of M25. Alternatively, we also have models for industrial applications and for use outside with straight, lateral or no cable outlets.
