Han High Temp hoods and housings and inserts for temperatures up to +200°C
By using high-quality temperature-resistant materials, a unique connector has been created, which can be used in a wide range of applications. Due to its exceptional resistance to temperatures up to 200°C, machines and plants that would otherwise need to be set up in a cumbersome and inflexible way, can now also be supplied with connectors. For users, this offers decisive advantages such as:
- Optimising electromechanical planning: Machine parts exposed to high ambient temperatures can be constructed in a modular format
- Optimising work processes: Reducing maintenance costs by reducing the wiring complexity
- Optimising the after sales sector: Reducing downtimes through maintenance-friendly applications
Overall constructions
The principle construction of the Han® High Temp interface consists of a bulkhead mounted housing on the housing side and a hood on the cable side.
Housing: The surface of the proven die-cast aluminium housing has been highly compressed to achieve excellent non-stick properties. This is paired with a special non-stick coating on the seal of the mounting side. This enables simple handling without a strong sticking effect.
Contact inserts: The centrepiece of a connector is the contact insert. With the Han® High Temp series, this is of course very durable. The LCP injection-moulded insulator offer maximum temperature resistance and optimal mechanical stability.
Contacts: Whether screw or crimp termination technology, the new temperature resistant contacts offer secure contact transmission with low transition resistance, even at extreme temperatures. Han® High Temp connectors are durable and reliable over their entire lifespan!
