H05BQ-F – for a perfect rubber-sheathed cable
The harmonised and halogen-free H05BQ rubber cable is used as a device connection wire wherever a proper and safe connection for tools, hand-held appliances and machines is needed. Thanks to its strong durability and flexibility, it can even withstand the highest demands and is the solution both inside and outside for safely connecting various technical devices to the power supply. The PUR connection wires, with their high mechanical load, fulfil almost every requirement here, where no tensile load or necessary control, such as in industry, is required. The construction cable can also be ideally used as an extension cable. The products listed in the shop differ in respect of the wire cross-section and outer cable diameter, so they can be selected appropriately for the various uses.
H05BQ-F - the resistant PUR wire in orange
The cable structure comprises fine core, blank copper threads layered in strands. With a minimum bend radius moved of 12.5 x outer diameter and permanently installed, the cables are very flexible. The core diameter extends from 5.7 mm to 7.4 mm. The rated voltage is 300V/500V with a test voltage of 2000 V. The visual perception at construction sites and increased safety is guaranteed by the signal colour orange of the robust outer jacket. The broad temperature range of up to 80° C and the extreme cold flexibility to -40° C allows frictionless use even in harsh climatic conditions as well as in dry, wet and damp spaces. The cables are also resistant to hydrolysis, microbe-resistant, largely oxygen and ozone-resistant and with their mechanical properties such as cut-proof and tear-proof they cover a wide range of uses.
What does H05BQ-F mean?
The product designation comprises letters and numbers that are necessary for finding suitable cable for the respective application. While the letters specify the features and materials of the cable, the numbers indicate the number of cores and their thickness. The H05BQ-F rubber cable can be interpreted as follows:
- H – Harmonised cable designation, the type designation is applicable Europe-wide according to (HAR) standard DIN VDE0281/0282/0292
- 05 - specifies the rated voltage, here the approval for 300V between outer conductor and earth potential (PE) and 500 V between outer conductors
- B – insulation material: EPR (ethylene-propylene-polymer)
- Q – jacket material: PUR (polyurethane)
- F – Conductor type; fine cores in wires for permanent installation Different
areas of application for the PUR wire H05BQ-F
The flexible usability for installation of the UV-resistant cables can be seen in the installation of the various applications. For example, thanks to its durability, the cable offers a reliable power supply outdoors, for example in construction machinery, on construction sites, in the camping and events area, and for agricultural equipment. The connection wires are also used in the operation of mobile electrical devices such as jigsaws, drills and other hand-held devices such as grinders or angle grinders.
