H07BQ-F PUR wires from Lapp – for a reliable power connection
Halogen-free and harmonised, the device connection cables H07BQ-F are wherever a safe and correct power connection is required for installations. This extends from mobile hand-held devices and to smaller tools. Thanks to the robust design, the H07BQ-F wire guarantees maximum flexibility indoors and outside. On the one hand, the technical devices can be connected safely to the power network through the high mechanical load of the cables, on the other hand, the cable also serves ideally as an extension cable on construction sites. It is therefore called a construction cable. The sheathed cable covers almost every requirement, where no necessary control or tensile loads need to be fulfilled. In order to carry out various work reliably, the cables are available in the signal colour orange in different conductor cross-sections and in different cable outer diameters.
Sheathed cable H07BQ-F with impressive product properties
The rubber cable with PUR jacket comprises fine-core blank copper threads, which are enclosed in a robust outer jacket made from polyurethane. The cores with optimum pitch lengths are combined in layers. With a core outer diameter of 7.6 mm to 9.8 mm and a minimum bend radius moved of 12.5 x outer diameter and for permanently installed of 4.0 x outer diameter, the cables are very flexible to use. The signal colour orange of the outer jacket simplifies visual identification and offers increased safety. Use in harsh climatic conditions as well as in dry, wet and damp spaces is covered by the broad temperature range from -40° C to 80° C.
The good mechanical qualities such as cut-resistance and tear-resistance are impressive, as is the resistance to chemicals and oil resistance. The sheathed cable can also be used outside because it is resistant to hydrolysis, as well as being microbe-resistant and oxygen and ozone-resistant.
Definition of the product designation H07BQ-F
The product designation comprises letters and numbers, which are necessary in order to find the suitable PUR wire for the respective application. While the letters specify the features and materials of the cable, the numbers indicate the number of cores and their thickness. The H07BQ-F rubber cable can be interpreted as follows:
- H – Harmonised cable designation, the type designation is applicable Europe-wide according to (HAR) standard DIN VDE0281/0282/0292
- 07 - specifies the rated voltage, here the approval for 450V between outer conductor and earth potential (PE) and 750 V between outer conductors
- B – insulation material: EPR (ethylene-propylene-polymer)
- Q – jacket material: PUR (polyurethane)
- F – conductor type; fine-core for wires with permanent installation
The H07BQ-F cable for many areas of use
The flexible and heavy-duty rubber-sheathed cable is suitable above all for challenging areas of use and is easy to use thanks to the simple coiling. The resistant polyurethane with rubber-insulated cores is suitable for working with drills, grinders, jigsaws or angle grinders. Thanks to is durability, it also offers a safe power connection outside on building sites for construction machinery, at events, in agriculture and can be used without concerns as an extension cable. The cut-resistance of the H07BQF is an important advantage compared to the classic H07RN-F. The various versions in the online shop offer a reliable power supply and the right selection for different areas of use.
What is the difference between an H07BQ-F and an H05BQ-F wire?
The H05BQ-F type is similar to the H07BQ-F but is used when connecting electrical equipment and machinery at lower voltages. While the H07BQ-F wire has a rated voltage of 450/750 V, the H05BQ-F wires only have a rated voltage of 300/500 V.
